About the Role 

As a Database Administrator, you'll be one of two experts responsible for our database landscape. You'll manage, optimize, and secure our Microsoft SQL Server environment while helping shape its future architecture. 

This is more than an operational DBA role. You'll contribute to our migration from Oracle to SQL Server, work with modern technologies, automate processes, and have the freedom to propose and implement your own ideas. Your expertise will directly influence how our platform evolves. 

What You'll Do 

• Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.  

• Monitor performance and troubleshoot complex issues.  

• Manage backup, recovery, security, and database availability.  

• Write and optimize SQL queries and database code.  

• Help standardize and improve our database architecture.  

• Support our Oracle-to-SQL Server migration.  

• Automate recurring tasks and drive continuous improvement.  

• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and business teams.  

What You'll Bring 

• 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.  

• Strong knowledge of performance tuning, security, backup & recovery.  

• Experience with T-SQL and database optimization.  

• Experience with scripting and automation.  

• Azure SQL and Oracle experience are a plus.
