Want to be part of the flow? Join us

Eneve helps organizations in the energy sector manage complexity, drive efficiency, and accelerate the energy transition. As a Junior Energy Consultant, you will join our team at the forefront of energy, data, and technology. This role is a unique opportunity to grow your skills while contributing directly to projects that shape the future of the energy market.

About the role

At Eneve (part of Energy21), we work with a three-step approach to deliver value to our clients:

  1. Designing solutions – Together with our clients, we explore opportunities, gather requirements, and design solutions using our proven product range and innovative prototyping. This leads to a high-level design and project plan that serves as the foundation of our proposals.

  2. Implementation – We refine, script, configure, deploy, release, train, and support clients in testing and acceptance. You’ll be part of these project activities from the very beginning.

  3. Ongoing support – After implementation, solutions are transitioned to our support teams. Operating in a DevOps environment, they provide continuous support through upgrades, incident management, and SLA monitoring.

As a Junior Consultant, you’ll start with practical training about the energy market and our software platform EBASE, including an in-house scripting course. Within 2–4 weeks, you will join a client team and begin working on scripting assignments. By executing small technical tasks, you’ll quickly learn to navigate EBASE and client interfaces, gradually building expertise while contributing to client satisfaction.

In this role, you’ll be actively involved in a wide variety of tasks – from troubleshooting and scripting to analysis, client support, testing, and documentation. Depending on the team setup, you may also interact directly with clients. Over time, with guidance from senior team members, you’ll take on more complex responsibilities, gain client-facing experience, and grow into a generalist with deep knowledge of our products and the energy market.

Typical tasks include:

  • Managing issues in EBASE, debugging scripts, and testing new releases

  • Designing small functionalities through fit-gap analysis (AS-IS vs. TO-BE)

  • Consulting on TO-BE situations after analyzing market documentation

  • Rolling out new releases

  • Providing ad hoc support to clients with operational issues
