Role Overview

As a Senior People Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of core HR operations across our international offices. You will be responsible for managing employment contracts, payroll processes, benefits harmonization, and pension administration. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management:

    • Draft, update, and maintain employment contract templates across jurisdictions (NL, PT, UK).

    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.

    • Support hiring managers with contract-related queries and onboarding documentation.

  • Payroll Administration:

    • Coordinate monthly payroll cycles with external providers in the Netherlands, Portugal, and the UK.

    • Validate payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, bonuses, and deductions.

  • Benefits Harmonization:

    • Lead the review and alignment of benefits packages across entities.

    • Benchmark and propose improvements to ensure competitiveness and equity.

    • Act as point of contact for employee benefits queries.

  • Pension Administration:

    • Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate pension scheme enrollments, changes, and communications. Support new joiners with pension onboarding and training coordination 

    •  

  • Process Optimization & Compliance:

    • Identify and implement improvements in HR operations workflows.

    • Maintain up-to-date documentation and policies.

    • Support audits and reporting requirements.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably in an international environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and payroll practices; familiarity with UK and Portuguese regulations is a plus.

  • Experience with HRIS systems (Personio preferres).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
