About the role

Are you a hands-on leader who loves building great software and guiding a team to success? At our Assen office, you’ll step into a dynamic environment where 10 talented engineers are divided into two teams. One team already has a Lead in place — and now we’re looking for an enthusiastic Lead Engineer to take charge of the second team.

This is your chance to shape, inspire, and grow a team while staying close to the code yourself. If you enjoy combining leadership with engineering impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Your responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of 3–4 software engineers and acting as their first point of contact for technical and organizational matters.

  • Actively contributing to the development of our software and not being afraid to get your hands dirty.

  • Contributing to the further professionalization of our development processes, while monitoring the quality, planning, and progress of your team.

Encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and personal growth within the team.

Our tech stack & methodology
Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Service-Oriented Architecture, REST, .NET (Core), MVC, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server, Redis, Razor, GIT, Azure.

  • You have extensive experience as a .NET developer and are up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in software development and preferably experience in leading or mentoring engineers.

  • You are a strong communicator, take initiative, and know how to motivate and guide teams.

  • Experience in the energy sector is a plus but not required.

What we offer

  • A challenging position within a growing, specialist, and knowledge-driven software company in the energy sector.

  • A competitive salary and attractive secondary employment benefits.

  • An open and pragmatic culture where working together really matters.
